Storyline Online: http://www.storylineonline.net/ is a cool website where actors and actresses read your favorite books aloud. Listen to “The Polar Express”, “A Bad Case of Stripes”, and many more great books. After listening to a book, click RELATED ACTIVITIES and answer one of the questions here in the comments section.

Calling all readers!! http://www.starfall.com/ Is a fantastic interactive site for grades K-2, you’ll find an introduction to letter sounds and books for beginning readers and everything in between.

Students in the fourth grade are learning all about rocks and minerals. Here’s a link to a cool site that shows how rocks are formed.

While “surfing” the Internet can be lots of fun, it is important to remember to be safe. Just like at the mall or the beach, don’t give out your personal information to strangers, don’t talk to people you don’t know, and if someone says something to you online that makes you feel uncomfortable–TELL an adult!
