We have finished the audio museum (YEA!!) and you have had a chance to listen to your own and those of your classmates. Please evaluate the project by responding these questions :
-What parts did you do really well?
-What parts did you struggle with?
-What component did you most enjoy working on?
-How could the project be improved?

I think that i did well staying fuocused and trying to go above and beyond with my work. In the end i did not do as well as i would have liked too.I also struggled with actually recreating the picture . one media i really struggled with was the scratch – etch there was only one color to use and it was hard to decide what to scratch and what not to scratch. I mostly enjoyed the writing it was fun to have lots of drafts done even though it was hard work.

I thought I did good on the drawing but then on writing and talking on the I-pod I thought I did horrible. In the podcast I thought it was too loud, but it was fun making the four pictures and writing about them. It was a lot of work making the podcasts and choosing the right back ground music for the picture and writing.

I really loved this project it’s easyly rated in my top three. It would be number one if I didn’t have to draw so much mabye only twice in stead of four. I think I did really well on my poam and picking the right music to go along. I was way better with cray pas than anything else, then would go watercolor. I really enjoyed gargeband. I liked to hear my voice recorded it gave me a few laughs! But finaly when I added induge (music for my peice) It sounded really great and I was finly ready to take on the big stage. I struggled with my collage it was hard to rip and tear, then to glue it but in the wrong spot! It was so hard! The only thing I would change would be make a goal on how many pictures you want to do thne hopefuly soar past.

I had a great experince doing our project! It was fun for me because we didn’t just do art or just writing. We got to do some of each and because I like to have a variety of things to do I really liked the project. I think my writing could have had more fun in it because it was mostly just talking with not much emotion. I think doing lots of medias got me to expand more in just regular art because some of the medias I used were great and some weren’t so great so I learned what to use and what not to use from it. I got to play around more with some fun medias that I would have never used before. All and all it was a fun, interesting, and informational project.

I thought that this project was just O.K. I’m not an artist. Sometimes I like drawing but drawing 4 pictures, that was really hard for me. One thing that I enjoyed was picking jinggles for my podcast. I noticed that my voice sounded kind of weird. I had trouble making my pictures look like the picture that I was trying to draw. It was fun looking through art books trying to find a picture. This project was challenging for me but some parts were fun.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:03 pm
I think I did the writing really well because it was one of the better poems that i have written before. I also think I did really well on the writig reflection. I was happy when I reread it because I think it gave out a lot of information about my picture, about me and what I like as a reader and drawer.
I don’t really think I did well on the pictures because making them wasn’t very fun cause I really suggled and put lots of pressure on myself and I don’t thik I did as good as I could of but I still liked the poject!
My favoret part was doing the sketches and quick writes because I was able to look through different books, sketch the pitures I liked most the do a quick write on why I liked them so much and why I even skeched them in the first place.
I still think I could of taken my time more so the pictuers could look nicer.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:05 pm
This project was kind of fun. Some parts I liked, some parts I didn’t like. I didn’t like writing the quick writes because ideas just don’t come to me so it’s hard for me even though the painting that I was writing about was right in front of me. I thought that it was fun looking in the art books for paintings and drawing the art I chose in four different meadias. I also liked making the podcasts for my project. When I was drawing, the ocean, boats and the beach were easy to draw but the houses were harder to draw. Right now, I can’t think of a way that the project could be improved.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:06 pm
This project was fun I have had better projects at my old school. But I did like working with the ipods. I did injoy looking at the art even though I didn’t really like art before this project. But now i look at it more closely. I think that if some kids don’t like art maby this project can show them that art is really cool. And if that kid likes some things that he thinks dosen’t exist in art maby they do.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:06 pm
Well I think this is my best project because this is the longest project I have ever worked on. So like all the things I used was craypose, painting, crayons, and colored pencils. And also I did so much writing my hand got so swetey my teacher came over and said Jimmy you are doing a fantastic job with your writing. So thats most of all of the things I have done for my art project I did this year in 5th grade.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:08 pm
I LOVE this art and writing project! I was so excited when I first heard we were doing it. Two of my favorites subjects are combined into to one. When I was doing this art profect, noticed that I am really interested in art and writing about my artwork. My sister Lexi was usually the artist in the my family, I never thought I was good, I never tried to draw to see if I was good or not. But when this project came I got to noticed that I am not that bad. I did well on my media reflection, I think because i put a lot of effort, I spent the whloe night working on it.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:09 pm
I thoght that the project was pretty fun because drawing a picture was hard but it was fun. Also i like to draw and i get my drawing ability from my mom.
1. One thing that I like about this project is that you get to pic your favorite picture.
2. Another thing that I like about this project is that you get to look cool pictures.
3. Another thing that Iike about the project is that I got to record my story and that was pretty cool.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:10 pm
This project was pretty fun because we got to draw alot and I LOVE to draw! I didn’t really like the quickwrites though, because it’s kind of hard for me to think of ideas for them. At the end when we got to use the ipods and share our art with our familys was the best part because it was like our art was in an art meusem and some day, I hope to have my art in a meusem.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:12 pm
i think i did well on the writing the story or poem in my case. i think that writing storie is fun when you have a picture to look at it makes it easier like if there was a big chair red chair in the picture you could write about who may have sat in it or some thing ealse.
i think i stuggled with the pod-cast part where we had to recored the story on to my cumputers. at first i did not my pod-cast i thought that my voice sounded odd but in the end my mom really cried and yelled at me for growing up to much.
i enjoyed working on my black chark hole picture. it is easy to mix with and blend. you can use your finger and rub to maybe give you a grayish look or an eligent look.
i think i can improve on drawing my pictures and start over again because i think i could have taken more time on my pictures. i my have rushed on some of them.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:15 pm
Struggle: I think that my struggle in this project was probably thinking of good words to write so I could ake people know how I felt durring this. I had a tough time writing down how I really felt….. ( I think it turned out good though). Sometimes when I write things, as I am wirting, the words just pop out of me! But strangely, this time was different….. It was almost like I didn’t even know how to write things. I was caught in the moment when I was doing it that I forgot completely how I was feeling ( my emotions durring that time) when I did it.
Enjoyment: Overall, I really, really enjoyed this! I love to draw, write, and that’s exactly what I was doing! I felt strongly that I was going to do good on this project because I was putting my all into it. (Because I loved it so much!)
Did Well In: I’ve learned through all of this that I ( not to brag) am a pretty good artist. I also, even though this is what I struggled in, did a nice job on the “What I’ve Learned” piece.
What I Mostly Enjoyed: I LOVE, LOVE to draw! That was 100% my favorite thing that I did on this project. I enjoyed drawing “Mme Reese”( Madam Reese). Everyone I showed this art to, loved it! Drawing has always been something that relaxed me, and made me happier when I was sad, or when I don’t know what to do. So when I heard that I was going to get a grade for doing something that I love to do, I was SOOOO exited! I am sad now that it is all over……
Improvment:Thinking of something that could be improved on this project is a hard thing for me. I just think that we should have done more drawing than we did writing. We did two DIFFERENT pieces of writing and four of the SAME pictures! I wish that we could have done more different drawings than two DIFFERRENT darwing pieces.
November 9th, 2007 at 1:16 pm
Things I was god at:One thing was the writing that i did it was detailed and there was a lot of voice in it.
Struggle: in the beging One thing I stuggled with was the drawing the first drawing i did was good but could’nt do another one but i did’nt give up and it tured out to be preaty good.
what i liked:I liked doing both the writing and the drawing I liked writing the story
beuause I love to write I mostly like to write about horses but this was good change I liked doing the drawing because I love to draw people and i love to put detail into my work one of my favorite medeida is carcol I just love the way it looks when i am done.
Improve:I think that we could have done 8 drawing at first then pick 4 that you liked then draw that 4 2 times
November 9th, 2007 at 1:16 pm
I think that I did very well in this progect with all this music and stuf.It came to me when i saw the picher with the music. It is not a rock-and-roll felling, but a nice stroll in a park.
I think that a had a little problem with piking my picher,I mean so many pichers by such a talinted artist.Almost all of his pichers speek to me,between you and me I even had troble picking one of my pantings.
Made if I rehersed more,I would hav sounded better and I could have bin more clear.

I did well on my media reflection, I think because i put a lot of effort, I spent the whole night working on it. Like I put what artpiece i did best on, what artpiece i didn’t do good on.
What i stuggled on was the Garage Band. I didn’t like how the my voice sounded like. It sounded like a 3 year old!
I like doing our artpieces in the three medias. Because i like to draw things in differents medias.
I think i could improved by tried little harder on my drawings.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:24 am
I think that I did the writing part of the project really well because I felt that it really had a lot to do with my piece. I think that I stuggled with the drawing part the most out of the whole project because different medias were harder to use than others making it harder for me to draw what I needed to in order to do a quality job. I really enjoyed using the i-pods because I liked doing the recording on garage band and then transfering it to the i-pods. I also loved using the i-pods to listen to my finished produt and others as well. I think that the project was very well organized and put together so I think that the teachers should just keep doing what they are doing because they are doing great job.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:30 am
The parts that I worked well in was drawing the picture’s because I absolutly love drawing and I’v been doing it sinse I was 5. The part that I stragged with was typing my draft and final draft, because then ever I typed a long parogragh it always erasted it. The one that I liked best is grage band because I thought that it was cool thatit could hold a song with what I wrote. This project could inprove if I pushed my sels harder because I was a little bit lazzy.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:32 am
When we did our projects on art I thought I did good on drawing the picec of art that I chose because I am a good drawer and good at coping pictures by looking at the picture. The hard part of the project was to write about what you felt and I kept getting fedback from writing my fellings. The one that I was enjoying was doing a project that involves drawing and I was excided. I really didn’t have to improve on my work because I tryed to work as hard as I can do and that was a good thing to do.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:33 am
The part that I think I did a good job on is the doing the painting over with all the different maidas because I toke my time and really staded fockesed. The part I struggle on was the writing piece because I really tried but it was hard because of all the copies I did it messed me up. The componet I really like doing the redrawing the painting because it was not to hard and it was fun. I think it could be improved by you could do one more art piece and have a little mkore time to do it.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:33 am
Over the whole prodject I had a lot of fun. My favorite part was recording on the ipod, because I could use my strengths that I found from my read alound share to help feel more comfortable when it come time to record on the ipod. I also think that I did a really good job recording on the ipod, because I spoke with a loud voice and at a good pace. I had 1 point in my reading where I staggered and paused for a moment, but I was able to keep going. I struggled with writing the piece to go along with my pictures, beacaue I had a lot of sentences that just went on and on. I also was using the wrong tense in some parts of my story. I had a great time on this project and do not think anything should be changed.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:34 am
i think I did a good job in finding music for the creadits, bluppers, and the hole entire skit for the Granary Buring Ground project . I think I could of been more envovled in the project.I really liked how our group worked hard and how coropertive. I think that our group did a great job on this project. I also had fun time doing this project. i think the most important thing in this project was the skit,we all had the fun on that part.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:35 am
I really enjoyed doing this project. My favorite part of the project was the writing part (even though I LOVE sketching and drawing) because the writing came right to me and I thought this was my strongest part of the project. I really liked the piece of writing because I thought it showed more emotion than others I have written.
I think I struggled a little bit with the sketching, i got frusterated if the picture didn’t come out how I wanted it to. I think I could have made the girl in the portrait a little bigger because she took up about 2/3 of the paper and I made her take up about 1 and 1/2 thirds of the paper.
overall i really enjoyed the project and learned a lot from it. i personally don’t think anything should change,i think the time limit was good because it keeps me more focused than if it were a longer time to do things, and you had time to relaxe and do whatever you wanted without thinking about the project.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:37 am
I thought that I did really well on picking jingles because I listen ro music alot so I understood what song fit with my picture. I think I struggled with recording because I am sometimes shy when I read story’s into microphones or to people I usually like to read story’s by myself. I really enjoyed working on doing my 4 art peices & I also enjoyed doing my writing even know I had to go back and fix alot of things I still really enjoyed it. I think the project could be improved by really don’t think that the project to me was a really good project so I don’t think it should be improved.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:39 am
Really well on:I loved the art project espeasaily drawing the pictrue four times I had a blast! I thought I did really good on my drawings because I put alot of time and effort into them. When I am into doing a project like that theres no stopping me.
Strugle: Well I didn’t really have a srugle with the project it was just getting it done on time was a problem. It was hard to get on time because I was perfecting my piece and boy did it take time.
My favorite part was the drawing since I love to draw.
Well you could not make us do 2 writing pieces.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:41 am
One part in the art and writing project that I thought I did really well on was picking the picture that I ended up doing. I thought I did really well on it because the picture that I did for the final project which was the three musicians I had to right a lot about and that didn’t seem hard. One part that I struggled with was recording the story start that everyone wrote. It took me a couple of times to get sounding the way I wanted it to be. One of the bad things aboutit was getting my voice loud. The part that I most envoyed working on was writing the artist statement. I followed the directions and it did not seem hard. One part that I could have improved on was getting my story done soner. It took a pretty long time for me to finish my story.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:44 am
I really enjoyed this project! I think the biggest strength for me that was in this project was my writing. My teachers enjoyed it, it was one of the easier things for me in the project, and it was fun. I thought that it turned out pretty well, and that the jingle that I picked matched my story.
There were two areas that I struggled with. The first was picking a title. I t was hard! There were hundreds of possiblities. I picked one phrase that I knew I would repeat a lot. The second thing that I struggled with was the art itself. I am not a very good artist, and the painting that I picked was very detailed. I think my teacher was right when she gave me the feedback, ” there is a benifit to mucking around, and not everything has to be perfect the first time.”
I most enjoyed working on the writing piece of this project. I t was easiest for me, and it was fun. I have alwys enjoyed writing, and I liked the fact that we were writing about a famous painting. I also think that I picked a very good painting for myself. It evoked strong emotions in me, and that made it easier to write about.
I can’t say that I would change anything in this project. I really liked it!
November 13th, 2007 at 11:45 am
The part that I think I did really well on would be making the end of my story. In the end of drawing the picture (#3 and 4).
The part I struggled with were making the begining of the story. Also I stuggled on drawing the picturein the begining.
The most component one for me was the Cray -pas because they’re fun and smuggy. My best would be the Marker one.
The project could be improved by give us a little bit longer time to get it done.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:46 am
I thought I did well when we had to make the art it was awesome! I strugled while making a collage because I had to find the right pictures but I did it! I enjoyed working on my collage because it was a challenge to find all the right parts and form it. I thought that the teachers did great!, I don’t think they need to change anything!!!!!
November 13th, 2007 at 11:48 am
In the process of our art and writing projects we did lots of steps until we could present them in the meusem. One part that I did realy well in is the writing. I did a poem and worked really hard on it and went through lots of rough drafts.
I also was kind of worried about some parts too. Like when we were recording te poem and intro, I don’t like speaking or hearing my self speak so that was a little challlenging.
But one thing I really enjoyed was the medias. Doing all the drawing and coloring is great fun tied in with learning.
Also one thing I could improve is to plan the project out more because at one point in the process where it was kind if cramped so i would like to have it planned out more.
November 13th, 2007 at 11:52 am
This art and writing experience was really fun! A part section that I really did well in was the wiritng part. I was good at that because I got feeback from my teacher that i was good at adding detail and pretending that I was telling the story from the slice’s point of veiw. I think that I am very good in that area too, but I could use some work on being more discriptive of my character and of being careful not to go back into past tense. I want to stay in the present and to act like it is happening in the moment.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:44 pm
the muesum was fun it was a lot of hard work and the hardist part it thinking of an idear and the funist part is the smil on my mom face.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:45 pm
The Art and wrting project was pretty fun! The wrting was the part I liked the most because I’m not good at drawing. I think we should have picked two pictures, choose 1 media for each, draw each one once with one media and write a short story for each because recreating the same piece four times got really boring after two drawings! So i would keep the writing the same but change the pictures.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:50 pm
I thought I did well on the writting piece becouse I enjoy writting. The writting piece was also my favorite part becouse I had some good ideas. I think I did not do a good job on the drawing. This part was hard for me becouse I’m not a talented drawer. One thing I wuld sugest is to expand the medeias that the kiids can use. Other than that I had a great time!
November 13th, 2007 at 12:50 pm
My favorite part was recreating the art because oI could draw. The hardest part was picking an art peice to recreate. My best peice was watercolor because it is more life like. I was supirised at how good my grade’s stories were. It could be inproved by having more choices.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:52 pm
I thought I did well on the poem I wrote, I have never written a poem that long. It was a stuggle for me to write a non-rhyming poem because I have never written one before. I found out that non-rhyming poem is easier than a rhyming poem. I enjoyed working on the art because it was a good experiance to recreate a piece of writing in four different medias. It is very rare that I recreate a piece of art, especially four times, when I draw I like to draw freely like cartoons, tracing from a book, etc . I think this project could be better if I could re-do the writing piece because I would have liked to do a different type of writing. I would like that because a lot of quick writes that were writen before were poems and were easy to write. I think I would have liked more of a challenging genre. I think I would have liked to done a story instead of a poem, a story would have been a challenge because it would ake a lot more work and ideas to create a good and accurate piece of writing. But my other thought was that a poem would be more interesting to read and would attract more viewers. A poem is my favorite piece of writing for that reason. But overall I enjoyed doing the writing and drawing.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:53 pm
I think i did really well on the drawing stage of the art and writing project. My favorite part was of the project was creating my pictures and wrighting my story. I think the part of the project that i sruggeld with was trying to find a pictureto draw. I think that the projectis great exactly the way it is. I dont think any one should chang the project in any way.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:55 pm
i LOVED the art and writing project because i love to draw and write and I got to do
November 13th, 2007 at 12:55 pm
I loved this project. It was really fun! I wish we could have even spent more time doing this
project. The hardest part about doing this project was revising all my writing. I spent more time revising then I did writing my piece. My favorite part about this project was remaking the art. It was really fun to remake the piece of art four times in a row in different medias.
My second favorite part about doing this project was writing. Writing was really fun! I loved coming up with some ideas to write with. If I could do this project again I would like to speak more loud in the recording, and speak more clearly. This was really fun.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:56 pm
In this project I Ioved and did well in picking a picture that I can draw and write an interesting piece about.I did well in this project but I struggled with recreating the piece of art 4 times with the same amount of detail. I enjoyed writing my artist statement because I like to tell? write why I wrote my writing.
November 13th, 2007 at 12:59 pm
This project was over all pretty fun. I think I did really good on my pictures because I got lots of complements on them. Not only I did good on my pictures but for me it was the most fun part. A part I struggled on? The answer to that would probabably be writing my artist statement, I struggled with that.
