4th Grade: During your travels around the world, you visited many different places and learned about cultures not like ours. Why is it important to to do this? If you could visit any place on Earth, where would you go and why?

I think we do this to help us learn about different cultures and places around the world. The one place i would want to go it would be Florida because i have been wanting to go there all my life because it is so warm. Also i have only went o places around NH,ME, and MA.

I would go to Puerto Rico becuase I was born there and it sounds cool.

Well I have been to Alot of places in real life but 1 place I really want to go to is Orange county ,California I really want to go there. It isnt that far but i have been to most of the places i think I want to go there!

Dear Mrs. Cheyney,
I think it is important to learn about different cultures because if one day you dicide to go to that place yoyu might not know how to speak that language and yoyu also might overhear someone talking about something that you learned about like somethng historical and then you’ll be like “Oh yah I know that.” The place I want to go most is Russia beacaue I would like to see a special city. My dad mentioned something like a “golden city.” ?????????????? I don’t know if there is really one! Can you anwer? Thanks, Thea

The reason I think traveling and learning about different cultres is it could help us in history. You could also learn a new langue. The one place that I would really want to vist would be France. The reason being is my cousins live there and have visted us and we haven’t visted them. he only reason that I wouldn’t want to vist is because it is a long flight. I still want to!!! We are visting them in April!!!

I think it is important to go places because you get to learn about different people things and places that you might not of known of before. If I could go any where in the world I would go to Italy because it has amazing places and lots of things to see and do. italy is one of my favorite places and I hope I will get to go there someday!

I think learning others peoples cultures is important because you don’t want to go to Japan without knowing it’s culture so when someone asks you to tell about their culture you don’t look silly.Also if I could go anywhere it would be the Rocky Montains.

It’s important to go to other places because you would become smarter if you learn another language so you could talk to other people around the world. That could help you get into good schools. If I had to go some where it would probably be Iceland because that was the county I reasearch and it seems nice.

The reason we should travel is, so that we can expirience different cultures. Also,you learn a lot and it is fun!

I think it’s important to travel to other contrys and learn about their history.The people will tell their friends about the contry then they’ll want to go and they’ll go and learn about thats contrys history.

I think it’s important to travel to other countries and learn about them and their history. People can then tell other people about the countries and the other people can go and learn about the countries. Then that makes everyone smarter. It’s also fun to go to other countries.

I think it’s important to know and travel to different countries is because it helps if you ever travel to places just in case of emergencies or if someone asked you about what your country you proudly tell them about it!And a if a younger brother or sister wonders in the future you can tell them!

I think it is very important that everyone gets to travel.Traveling could mean learning a new language,and learning a new language is taking another step toward world peace.
Traveling is also very educational.You can learn a new culture,and as I said before,a new language.Talk about getting an A in history!
It can also be fun! I mean,who dosn’t want to go to one of those hot countries like Egypt and hang out by the pool all day?
Traveling can also mean visiting family.My dad’s side of the family all live in Cairo,Egypt.It’s so fun visiting them.
If I could go to any place in th world,I would go to Egypt.It’s so fun visiting my family.

I would go to chile to the atacam because it is one of most driest desrts in the world and it has a population of 15,908,912.
I think it would cool to learn different cultures in chile.

I think we did this so we could learn about other Cultures and Religions. It was really fun! I learned A LOT! I didn’t know much about other countries! It was really cool!!!!!

My favorite place would be England because my favorite sport is soccer and they play it all the time. I think it is important to learn about other coutries religends because if you ever go there you will know something about the place. For example in the summer I am going to England for a soccer camp because of this I will know about some holidays that we don’t have.

I think it is important to learn about the different cultures in case we have to go there some day and if we do we’ll be prepared and you might learn something important that you might need to know one day. If I could go to anywhere in the world where would I go? i would go to Greece because some of my friends go there and they tell me lots of cool stuff about it.

i think we learned a lot and it is inportint because we learned new words and new places so I think I would go to Hawaii because I like it there and I’ve been there before and it was very fun. I would go to one of the small islands because I heard there is lots of places to expore and to go out and play.

I love to travel places and I want to visit Iceland. It looks like alot of fun and the writings persuaded me to visit there. I think it was important because if you ever do visit a foran Country it would be easier to know about the country so you could visit places and learn more! I also think that it’s important to know a second language so when you go to a country that speaks a different language you can understand the people and communicate!!!!

i think it is important to do this because it is a good way to teach us about different cultures, cities, towns, countries and other places. I would visit Stratahm or Seoul because in pictures they both look really cool they also sound interesting.

I think that it is a good idea to learn about diffrent cultures because if you might deside to go there one day you will know all about it. If I could go anywhere in the world I would go to Mexico.

I think it is important to go to different places because the cultures are not the same as a ours and they live differently. I think we should know more about other contries instead of just knowing about the place we live in. I think it is also important to learn about different countries because they are on the same planet as us and we should know about our surroundings. If I could go to any place in te world it would probably be Ireland because my fist name is Irish and from what I hear it is a really neat country.

Because later in our life we might want to there and we would have no idea what the langwige it is or where to go. So this helps us learn that stuff. I would want to go Iceland because there are really cool spices of animals and plant.

I want to vist Icedland!!! Because It seems really interesting like the places seem really neat and the name seems cool too. From what i’v herd it’s cold and I think visting different countrys around the world. Ialso think doing this activity was a good idea and I enjoyed studying all the different cultures it was FUN!!!!!

I want to vistit Berlin because there would be a great expierience to see how many places there are in the area I also want to see how many casles there are.I really like the Berlin soccer team Iam going to ask my dad if he can take me to a Italy vs. Berlin game and I know Berlin would win.

I agre that it is important to know other cultures than ours. Its important to know other culturs than ours because what if your family was going to move to a new contry and you didnt know any thing about it. Or you wanted to visite to another country. If I could go any wher on earth it would be India or Puerto Rico. I would like to go to thes places because India seems like a nice quiet pretty magical place. And I would like to go to Puerto Rico because I’v been there and It is a fun and pretty place and I would love to live there or at least go there again.

I think it’s important to learn about new places and new calters and to learn what they do there.It is fun to hear their langue(s) and try to spaek their lingo.The best part of going to a new land is seeing the sites.If I had to choses a place to go I would go to Frace or Itly because they are beautiful places like the Efile tower and Venis.
